How we got drunk and climbed a mountain

  

           Just got back to the hotel after quite a morning/afternoon.  We did probably 

two of the most mismatched activities ever, but it's fine, they were both amazing.  This morning we woke up in time to get our free hotel breakfast (obviously...it was free).  Last night we convinced Pants and Shorts to stay another day in Denver and so we set off to see the sights.  

(Notice how I'm sticking to the paragraph form Chappy has taken a liking to).  We first went to the Coors Brewery, which is the largest brewery in the world (told to us several times by our audio tour guides).  Along the trip we got a small plastic cup of beer, maybe 3 or 4 shots worth, and told us we'd get three more samples in the lounge.  We thought this meant three more of these sampling sizes, but no, they meant three legitimate glasses of beer.  After finishing all of our three samples, we decided it best that we walk around and get some lunch before going to our next destination.  

       After lunch we headed to Red Rocks, which is this really cool outdoor amphitheater that is literally in the middle of these huge red rocks.  Despite Amanda and I taking us in a circle, we got there and decided to hike the 1.4 mile trail through all of the rocks.  Small side note, Chappy and I were wearing jeans for the first time since Nashville...huge PLD for rock climbing.  Amanda was mad because we weren't actually allowed to scale the rocks (it was a $1000 fine and 180 days in jail...not worth it), yet somehow the "trail" that we took led to the edge of a pretty tall rock.  Clearly we got off track somewhere, and of course I was now convinced we were going to fall.  We didn't, however, and I definitely feel as though I made up for the last week of not going to the gym.  We're back at the hotel getting ready to take advantage of the free dinner and happy hour :) before heading to trivia!!!!  Hopefully we'll bring home the victory and we'll end our trivia careers as the youngins on top.
